Why do people go to therapy?
People have many different motivating factors that bring them to psychotherapy. Some may be going through a major life transition such as divorce, unemployment, a new job, etc. Some are not handling stressful circumstances well and it is taking an emotional and physical toll on them. Other people need assistance managing a range of concerns such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions, or relationship problems.
