Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy provides clients the opportunity to be more at ease in the fresh air and encourage a natural flow of therapeutic conversation.
It is similar to traditional office-based psychotherapy except you are walking while you are talking instead of sitting inside. Participants have shared that this little bit of movement enriches the counseling session, as they are in nature and feel energized.
Research has shown that being near a green space lowers stress and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression, and children with attention deficit disorder show improved cognitive function when interacting with nature, according to the American Journal of Public Health.
Our therapists will meet you at one of the pre-determined locations to have a 45-minute therapy session to help you fully explore your needs and create a “better” you.
