Marisa Montalvo Stefani, LCSW is a well-trained and experienced therapist in community mental health and the private practice of psychotherapy. Marisa Montalvo Stefani provides office-based psychotherapy for ages 5 through adulthood. When children and adolescents are being seen by Mrs. Montalvo Stefani, parents/guardians are considered valuable partners and are treated as collaborators in the therapeutic process. Parents/guardians are engaged at the beginning and end of every session to keep the lines of communication open and to assist the therapist in addressing the most critical needs.
When adults are receiving therapy, Mrs. Montalvo Stefani will connect with whomever the client requests (and provides consent for), such as their significant other, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, etc. A team approach and accessibility outside of office hours is what Mrs. Montalvo Stefani is well-known for, and the same would be extended to all new clients.
