FAQs
What is a typical therapy session like?
Because each person has different issues and goals for therapy, therapy will be different depending on the individual. In general, you can expect to meet for a 50 minute session to discuss the current events happening in your life, your personal history relevant to your issue, and report progress (or any new insights gained) from the previous therapy session. If the identified patient is a child, the parent/guardian will be incorporated into the process to ensure that the best care is provided. This means that I will meet with you at the beginning and end of each session to check in on the progress and to keep the lines of communication open and clear.
